The 1825 migration, of over 2000 Irish immigrants, led by Peter Robinson was the largest organized migration of Irish settlers to Canada. The legacy of this settlement in Peterborough and the surrounding areas has been a key part of the region's history and cultural identity.
It will be a grand year of Irish music, entertainment, history and culture with concentrated events happening August 1 to August 10, 2025 in Peterborough, Ontario.

As President, and together with the Executive and Members-at-Large, we welcome you to the Peterborough Canadian Irish Club's webpage.

It is the Club's objective to preserve and promote its Irish cultural heritage by fostering friendship and goodwill among its members, people of Ireland, and like-minded organizations and surrounding communities.
